Born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, Dan took an interest in construction at a young age. Accompanying his uncle (Timothy E. Cassady Sr.) to construction job sites every Saturday morning at just 8 years old, Dan collected knowledge of, and gained passion for, the industry. Later, in high school and college, Dan was employed by a lumber supply company formerly known as Western Home Center and obtained experience with the products used in custom construction functions.

 

In 1994, Dan joined Foxfire Properties, Inc. as a laborer and gained hands-on experience with new custom homes and remodeling projects. As a fast and aggressive learner, he was promoted to Supervisor where the scope of work increased to overseeing all aspects of each project, from conception to completion. In 2009, Dan became Vice President and partner in the company with the added responsibilities of labor scheduling, timeline management, budgeting, architectural design, and quality-control.

 

Dan served for 6 years on the Board of the Home Builder's Association of Greater Cincinnati, where he formed valuable industry relationships. As a 9-year member on the Board of the Starfire Council, Dan helps enrich the lives of developmentally disabled young adults. Dan currently serves on the Board of Catholic Residential Services, an organization that promotes safe home environments for developmentally disabled young adults.

 

Dan resides in Anderson Township with his wife, Sarah, and their daughter Claire and son Luke.
